For over 40 years, the U.S. Department of Education has recognized outstanding schools through the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program. This year, the program named Whitney High School a National Blue Ribbon School. Only 356 schools were recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools nationwide, with 33 schools in California. The award affirms the hard work of educators, families, and communities in creating school environments where students are challenged and engaged.

ABCUSD middle and high school students are encouraged to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by participating in this year’s Visual and Performing Arts Contest.
